RECLAIMED & STAINED gives away fence and deck lumber that has already been used. It is not new, not graded, and not certified for any structural use.

It may contain

• Nails, screws, or staples
• Rot, checks, or weather
• Paint, stain, or another finish
• Pressure treatment

What we do, and what we do not

We sort out what we can see is unsafe or unusable, and we can decline a donation. We do not install, design, or inspect your project. We are not a contractor.

If you take wood, look at it before you build. You decide whether it is fit for your project, and you take the risk of using it.

If you donate, tell us about nails, treatment, and how to reach the pile. We can send a written acknowledgment of what you gave and when. We do not assign a dollar value. RECLAIMED & STAINED is a 501(c)(3), EIN 42-2181182, exemption effective April 2026. Tax treatment is up to you and your advisor.
